Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and have access to an iPhone with iMessage to use Caltext.

The Service

Caltext is an AI-powered calorie and nutrition tracking assistant that operates through iMessage. The service includes meal logging, daily summaries, weekly recaps, streak tracking, and meal-time reminders.

Nutrition Accuracy

Caltext provides estimates of calories and macronutrients based on AI analysis and the USDA FoodData Central database. These are estimates and should not be considered exact measurements. Caltext is not a medical device and does not provide medical or dietary advice. Consult a healthcare professional for specific dietary needs.

Your Account

Your account is identified by your phone number. You are responsible for all activity associated with your phone number. Do not share access to your iMessage account with others for the purpose of using Caltext.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Caltext are owned by Caltext and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

Caltext is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to health outcomes based on nutrition estimates provided by the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Caltext after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
